Runway Pavement Marking
Airport pavement markings are an important part of an airfield's visual aids, and its very important that the markings are well maintained. The purpose of airfield markings is to increase visibility and decrease run way violations. Having accurate and highly visible airfield markings is one way to greatly reduce these problems.
Material
Retro Roads uses, as specified, a water based airport pavement marking paint system.
This runway marking paint is a quick drying non gloss co-polymer formulated specifically for airport line marking and meets the Department of Aviation specification DCA/AP/101.
Application
All work is carried out to applicable requirements and our extensive experience in this field results in minimal disruption to airport operations. Execution of works is coordinated to reduce the impact to airport users and ensure a safe and effective outcome.
